Eric Bader

Eric Bader is a director of photography with work reaching all genres of filmmaking. Raised on MTV, he had no choice but to make music videos himself, and his fondness for this format challenges him to push visual boundaries with every new project. He’s had the opportunity to shoot videos for high profile bands like Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Panic at the Disco, and he has had six videos nominated for MTV Video Music Awards (and one winner). He has shot television series for Netflix, Showtime, and Cartoon Network’s anarchic off-shoot Adult Swim, as well as multiple narrative features, with his movie “Spell” earning him the Haskell Wexler Award for Best Cinematography. In the commercial world, he has worked on popular award-winning campaigns for clients such as Purple Mattress and State Farm. His work has been featured in American Cinematographer, British Cinematographer, and Definition Magazine, and he’s a pretty good guy.
