Who We Are

The Film Studies Program is housed in the Office of Interdisciplinary Studies and is led by a dynamic, award-winning faculty which includes professional filmmakers, artists, festival organizers, historians, and multimedia creators.

Film Studies graduates have gone on to launch and support production companies, marketing firms and film festivals, as well as pursue secondary degrees in Film, become educators, win Emmys and work with non-profit organizations in the arts sector.

Through an interdisciplinary approach to knowledge exploration from a diverse range of academic fields and interests coupled with academic research and real-world implementation, Film Studies students are able to enhance their primary degree programs while launching their professional pathway centered around their unique interests, goals and knowledge bases.
